Ingredients
- Barley
- 1 Chopped Onion
- 1 Chopped Potato
- 1 Chopped Carrot
- 1 Chopped Celery
- Parsley or thyme (optional)
Sauté the onion, celery stick, potato and carrot in olive oil or ghee. Add a a fistful of washed barley grains and 16 times water. Cook for about 30-40 minutes till the water becomes thicker.
Season with salt, pepper and thyme. (or parsley)
