As a young girl, evenings for me inevitably meant a tummy ache. While my sisters were in their deep slumber, I remained twisting and turning in my bed, often with a hot water bottle.Despite of being raised in an Ayurvedic family, I abused my
stomach as much and as often as I could. My health, I assumed was the responsibility of my mother. While mine was to make it challenging for her. I took for granted the Ayurvedic lifestyle and principles that I inherited. My father had suffered similar fate. Constitutionally, his gut was weak and ulcerative colitis had become a part of it since his college days. When I moved to the United States in 2003, my stomach issues became worse. I got hemorrhoids and often experienced severe
discomfort. Everything from nausea to diarrhea to constipation. That is when I decided to go back to my roots. I used Ayurveda and its principles to bring myself into balance without going on a deprivation diet. Each day, I gained a deeper understanding of the human digestive system and how even the wildest of the guts can be tamed using Ayurveda. It has been over a 15 years and I can say that I have experienced no symptoms at all. I travel to tropical countries freely, eat their ethnic foods and my stomach stays on my side. I would like for you to experience the transformation that I have. I take people on a journey of change where they begin to understand and hack the code of their own bodies, restoring and sustaining balance. My goal is for you to be the master of your own body.
