Lentil Soup (Complete Meal)
Ingredients (It’s ok to omit any of these)
Masur Dal or French Lentils
Saute onions, celery and tomatoes in olive oil or ghee. Add salt and cook till really soft. Cook lentils in water with a bay leaf and a cinnamon stick till they are soft. (If you soak the lentils for a couple of hours, cooking will be much easier) Mix the two and add hot water for the desired consistency.
Good with Ghee
